Brand new Therapeutic Program working with the most fragile Emotional Disturbance population. We have rewards items but no secure cabinet to put them in. Also, no comfortable place to park their buns - the student chairs are hard. Sometimes they just need to sit in a comfortable place to take that mental break better. If you look at the classroom photo, I am currently working with the absolute basics, desks, a projector, and 1 big shelf. I want the space to feel welcoming and inviting. If they are already struggling with a lot of mental health issues, I need them to want to come to this space. Some student desks and a projector just won't do.
