This year at our school we are piloting a MicroSociety program. My vision would be to secure some 3D printing equipment to have students identify challenges/problems around the school, experiment with different strategies for addressing them, and embrace failure to discover new solutions. I also envision my students being able to create a nonprofit school marketplace that they can take orders, print products, and fill the orders. I would also like to create a morning club that introduces students to 3D printing and then eventually, offer an advanced club that students can not only print, but also look at the design process.
