Students will use these materials in our science lab at school. The activities and labs are hands-on, allowing students to engage all their senses and problem-solving skills in real-time. I found free digital grade-level appropriate books online, but we all know that learning by doing can greatly benefit learning science. These materials for labs and activities are essential in helping these students synthesize the information in the text with the actual processes of biology, physics, and earth science. The aquarium will also help my students maintain accountability as they will be responsible for maintaining water levels, proving food for the, and making daily observations.
