LID: Low Incidence Disability. Less than 1% of the population is disabled on the level of my students. Finding useable items and curricula for Middle School Sped students that is not all over kindergarten-kittens-and-hearts takes determination. They need science, social studies and social skills curriculum suited to their age, but also suited to Special Education. A TPT gift card can be used to purchase curriculum and activities created by Sped teachers for other Sped teachers and special education students. We do not attend science in the school lab. We must adapt our science lessons to available science tools in our own class. Assistance in essentially creating our own in-class science lab will enable us to be much more hands on in Science.
