In today’s world of education, and the focus of standardized testing, I feel that students have lost the opportunity to read for enjoyment and experience. With my book club, I hope to provide them the chance to take an adventure and experience the fun and wonder of reading, without the loom of test questions at the end. My goal is to provide a safe space, outside of the classroom, for learning and imagination. I hope to inspire them to continue that journey on their own, even after our book club ends. I want to create a love of reading in every child.

About my class
