Cow eyes disection provides a connection between the light waves we learn about in class and student's own anatomy. This project provides a more relevant connection to students lives as we explore waves in the 8th grade NGSS content. Students are more engaged and interested to learn about light waves while they get to explore the parts of an eye that allow them to take in light and process images. Science is always better when we can provide an experience that transcends paper and pencil. Please help us give this experience to our students.

About my class
