I moved to a new classroom and I have no carpet for my students to sit on. A carpet is so important for 1st graders because it gives them a comfortable place to sit and actively listen. We spend a lot of our class time going from our seats to the carpet. With this carpet, we can learn how to be successful listeners. The squares give students a way to control their bodies. We listen to stories, share ideas, do math and so much more on the carpet! By donating to this project you are not only helping make our learning space more comfortable but also giving us a huge tool that we need in order to succeed.
