I teach a functional life skills focused classroom. My students work hard every day but need specialized , intensive, individualized instruction. The materials I selected will help to provide some hands-on learning for my students. The alphabet tubs will allow for letter and sound practice as they see and feel objects that begin with that letter sound. The light table manipulative set will allow me to create multiple learning opportunities around our popular light table. For instance, the letters can be used for name recognition or the shape buttons can be for used for shape identification or for patterning. These materials will help my students to grow in their learning!
