I intend to utilize Nearpod daily to see and show student work anonymously and provide feedback as well as multiple strategies in real time. This will be done through choice board creation inserting web content in one location, draw it, drag and drop, time to climb, quiz, 3D shapes, virtual reality, polls, and collaborative boards. Flocabulary will aid students in vocab comprehension through rap creation and five other online tools. Both Nearpod and Flocabulary will help my students become independent critical thinkers. I attended 45 professional development sessions this summer and plan to continue to learn how to utilize these online learning platforms to the best of my ability. I aim to provide more differentiation in a high school math classroom than I've ever been able to provide. They allow for immediate feedback and whole class participation. I just need the financial support to utilize them, since my district won't purchase the upgrade for my Nearpod Gold account (which is full) nor the new Flocabulary account.
