As a second grade teacher, I have the extremely rewarding challenge of teaching all academic subjects, good manners and behavior, and social emotional lessons. My 7-8 year old learners are always full of energy and require flexible seating options to maximize their learning potential. My students vary in size and height. Providing flexible seating will help me accommodate various needs such as ADD, ADHD, and the many students that have a never ending abundance of positive energy. Flexible seating will allow for student choice by offering alternative seating options to allow students to comfortably be engaged in learning.
