I plan to use the cube stools at my small group table, and the cylindrical stools in my classroom library. There are a few qualities of these stools that I feel will enhance my classroom learning environment: functionality, durability, comfort, and aesthetic. These stools will be functional, they are light and easy to move. I could even work them into the curriculum! They are easy to sanitize, which is important especially as we return to in-person learning this year. They are durable and will last me many years, no matter what grade I might teach in the future. I want to have a more sustainable classroom model. Lastly, they are also comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, which can enhance the student experience in a space they will spend a lot of time in.
