The books are going to used to grow their vocabulary, inspire ideas for writing and gaining new perspectives about the community they live in. I plan to use Reading Journals and Read Aloud, so the more reading material, the better. I want them to see that books are windows to the world and that they are free to read here and at home when they are in my class! I also want them to feel safe as well by having proper cleaning materials and not run out, especially since I'm not sure if we will be supplied with cleaning products like before.
