Many of the materials selected will be used to help build reading skills that are so needed amongst children. Many children today do not have the desire to read. The products that were selected focus on word-building skills, creativity, and the use of their imagination. I will use many of the items during small group instruction to help differentiate the lessons especially among my EL students and struggling readers. I will also use the majority of the items as alternative interactive play for my students to continue the learning process.
