Hello! I am a school counselor new to this school, and I have the privilege of teaching some of the most amazing students! This is a title one school. Many of my students have experienced a great deal of trauma in their short lives and many are living in single parent homes, are homeless or are in foster care. I would like the opportunity to provide them with a safe, comfortable space where they can open up to me and allow me to help them process the trauma they may have experienced in their lives so they can become better learners. I would love for them to recognize their full potential and to see they can do anything they want to do and they don't have repeat the cycle of poverty that they might be living in. I want use this furniture to create a space where they feel like they belong and are free to be themselves.
