Reading is the foundation of learning. Listening to words frequently improves vocabulary, comprehension, language structure and confidence in readers. Students will be able to enjoy the listening station daily during center time. The listening station will improve our learners vocabulary by mid year. Centers are the premise of engaging the young child. Research shows that when learning is engaging, relevant and explicit the learner is likely to improve comprehension and gain a sense of appreciation for learning. Help make this school year a productive and fun school year that will set my students up for a foundation and love for learning.

About my class
