When students come in for counseling and are waiting to be seen, my hope is that students can rate their symptoms and then have access to de-escalation strategies. While students wait to be seen the use of apps and strategies that I will load onto these tablets will be used to help ground them and get them ready for the upcoming session with the counselor. Especially during this upcoming school year keeping students connected and engaged will be imperative. I look forward to being able to help students learn techniques that they can use in their own.

About my class
