Our classroom is a new addition to the elementary school so new toys for the children will change the dynamic of our learning environment. The kids will be using the sensory bins during our science time to learn about the outside world and allow the students to think of questions. During our center time, I like going over numbers and letters so having counting bears will help the students visualize the numbers I speak about. Many toys have valuable benefits that can have kids practice their motor skills and boost brain development. One of my favorite items on the wish list is the butterfly garden because I have a strong passion for environmental science and bringing life into the classroom can allow the children to have a hands-on approach to learning and build a personal connection to nature.
