My students communicate and make their needs known using PECS and coreboards. They use these materials to go to the restroom, if they are hungry or thirsty, they can choose from the PECS. Teacher-made matching activities will teach them academic skills in reading and math. They also use worksheets for independent or guided activities. Social stories will also be printed to help them with their social skills and behavior. With this printer, my students will be able to communicate effectively, progress academically, and improve their socialization skills. Provided with visual help, they will become more engaged in our daily activities.
