Our students have limited recess and outdoor time. We also have PE (Physical Education) for 5 days in a row, but then they are off for 10 school days to participate in Art and Music classes. These items would really benefit them in the classroom especially on the weeks were we do not have PE class. Most of today's students spend more time on technology than exercise. I would like to allow them more opportunity to stay fit while still doing regular daily tasks. These item will not only be great for fitness, but overall health and mental focus. The chairs and yoga balls will help students have additional seating options as well as work on good posture. The standing desks will allow students to get up and stand while working. The bikes will allow them to more while working.
