Reading is a very important part of our school day. Throughout the school year, students explore a variety of genres and topics by reading books from our diverse classroom library. By giving my students direct access to the books in our classroom, they have the opportunity to personalize their learning by picking texts that meet their interests. Increased choice in the classroom leads to higher engagement, and I love seeing my students get excited to start a book they picked themselves. My students love to learn by opening a book, and this shelf will help us go on more reading adventures!
