Play is the most important tool to utilize in PreK! A sensory table offers young learners the chance to explore and experiment with different materials each day! Students use science, math and language while exploring and investigating in the sensory table. The sensory table is always the first choice of play within the classroom. Some of the things found in the table include sand, water, beads, rocks, slime, snow, dirt and many other things to explore. I have always had a sensory table in my classroom. Unfortunately, my table was so old I needed to get rid of it and do not have the funds to replace it.
