My students come from a high poverty area on the coast of South Carolina. At school, they are your normal young adolescents; but outside of school, they face a hard life. These 7th and 8th graders have had it tough growing up, but the school is their safe haven. Inside these walls, they thrive and get all of the support that they need. Donating to my project and helping out these kids would mean more to them than you can even imagine.
