I am fortunate to be the STEM teacher to children ranging in age from 2 years, nine months to 5 years old. For many of my students, I am their first introduction to the school experience and my goal is to create an environment where it is safe, exciting and fun to learn. My STEM lessons focus on problem solving, brainstorming, exploring and experimenting, skills that every young learner will need as he or she grows and develops. One of our Units of Study focuses on light and a light table will allow me to present this study in an engaging, hands on manner. In past years I have created light boxes out of plastic storage boxes, however, the strength of illumination is very weak and I was disappointed with the outcome. I ask for this light table and accessories to help me present this study and many others in the very best way I can, in order to teach my kids.
