If funded, students will have the opportunity to read books at their level on a wide variety of topics. Choosing books can be very fun for students, but due to the limited amount of resources, students do not have a variety of books to choose from on their level. Having a wide variety of books to choose from helps engage the students and expands their knowledge. Our school uses Accelerated Reader, a program used all around the country, which is used to ensure they are reading on their reading level. It is my hope that having these books will help my students that are below grade level increase to being on grade level.
