Our students are socio-economically disadvantaged and suffered through the pandemic in isolation and despair. The inequities in our society were on full display during COVID. I want to provide my students with a daily ritual of mindfulness, meditation and yoga stretching to ease their transition back to school and reignite their growth mindset for learning. Yoga will improve my students' focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and give them a fighting chance. My kids live in a harsh urban environment where the opportunity myth is just that...help my students meet their aspirations.

About my class
