I am thrilled to teach 3rd grade for the first time this year! I would love to include a large variety of books for my students in our classroom reading corner. This includes books about diversity and inclusion, social-emotional learning, STEM, graphic novels, and chapter books. Reading books that represent different abilities, cultures, and beliefs help us change our attitude toward those differences. By providing more diverse book choices, students are exposed to a wealth of different ideas and possibilities. I would like to have books that will not only hold my students' interests and keep them reading, but also represent who they are. Thank you so much and I truly appreciate your support!
