The materials that I chose will help students' reading comprehension, fluency, and practice concepts learned during their lessons. I hope to encourage reading not only in the classroom, but also at home. The carpet will help to make the classroom library cozy, and is currently a very simple area. The books will create interest among the students, and I hope to foster a love of reading. I also have a small personal collection of books since I am a new teacher, and would love to build up my classroom library. I have also included some classroom tools/games for the students to have to practice different concepts in a variety of ways.
