Our elementary school is working to be a STEM accredited school, the first in our district. Project Lead The Way, a STEM focused class, is solely offered to our students. This class requires kids to use a touchpad to click and drag items while using the software in this class. Our youngest students do not have the fine motor skills to complete this task with much success. The mice purchased with your donation will allow little hands to experience success with the first try instead of multiple attempts. At our school we are focused on preparing our kids for their future by exposing them to as many areas of the technology world as we can squeeze into one school year. That is why the focus of this DonorsChoose project is on tech. The mice in the classrooms and the camera to produce our morning show give our students a head start for what the world will offer when they graduate.
