One of the best ways to learn new material is to engage learners through play. The study of business ethics and law can be very dense for high school students. It can also become boring when simply being asked to memorize facts, laws and key terms, and apply these to case studies. Using board games, I plan to help students gauge their moral compass by encouraging strategic critical thinking skill engagement to outwit other classroom team members through board game competitions. The board games will be played in small groups during class, and each group will have an opportunity to play each game. Students will be asked to complete keep a log of the interactive game play for reflection and group discussion.
