My campus has established a culture of readers. Our students love reading books! The book vending machine is a school-wide incentive program. Students can earn tokens by exhibiting outstanding academic or social behaviors. They use those tokens to pick out a book of their choice. The goal of the book vending machine is to reward positive behavior while giving students access to a variety of books that they can take home with them. Instilling a love of reading in students is very important. The book vending machine is filled with a variety of genres and reading interests. This project will allow us to fill up our book vending machine for students to pick a book of their choice. I chose high interest books to motivate and engage students through reading. These books will help create an environment that focuses on the enjoyment of reading and foster lifelong readers! Thank you for supporting our students!
