Many families in our district work hard to provide basic needs for their children, but for one reason or another, sometimes struggle to provide them with school supplies that are crucial for their organizational development and smooth transition to middle school. We are a school that services a large English learner population, many families of lower socioeconomic status, and many families with multiple siblings throughout the district. These binders are durable and help keep our students organized, but they simply are too expensive for many of the families that we service at our school. Having some of them to provide for our students who otherwise wouldn't have access to them would help us immensely with out goal of setting all of our students up for optimal middle school success!

About my class
