I am creating this project to integrate technology in the classroom. I am requesting a laptop, smart speaker and toner. Students have experience using tablets and computers at home to play games, but in school we use them for lessons and literacy and math stations. Having tablets and computers in the classroom will also be used as a reward system, and a cool down method. There are students who need the mental break to step back and take a break from pencil and paper work, and the electronics will allow them to have that break time. Tablets and computers will also add an extra step to my reading and math stations, and a tool for assessments. This laptop will make a huge difference in my classroom because now students can be assigned a laptop and use that laptop to complete assignments, I-Ready lessons, Starfall, access Schoology and be technology savvy.
