Access to these books inside our classroom will help students to gain confidence in reading and spark their imagination. We currently do not have any extra books for students to read independently if they finish their library books or forget them at home. Our school also participates in Accelerated Reader and students earn rewards for reading and testing on books. All books on this project are testable books in the AR platform. In addition to single books for independent reading, the class sets will allow our class to do novel studies together. This will allow students to better understand how to comprehend chapter books as they read them independently. We will also do interactive activities that will tie reading with other subjects and character lessons.
