Students need flexibility in their learning environments. This project will give students options for seating in the library classroom. These seating options will be used by all 600 students grades kindergarten through 5th grade. The different seats will provide the least restrictive environment for all students. The different mediums will help meet IEP and 504 accommodations for students with other disabilities. The seats also provide seating options for collaborative learning, independent reading, and free time. I will use these seats along with traditional tables and chairs to provide Library instruction when classes visit the library each week.
