Organizing a classroom for collaborative learning can be difficult when space is limited and classrooms are designed for student desks in rows. The rugs of various colors will be used to anchor determined spaces for learning. An old term "centers" has been replaced with "collaboration." Students will work together on given tasks related to English and Reading (Writing, Grammar, Word Study, Fluency, Communication, and Reading Skills). Having flexible seating, the Storex Active Tilt Stools and wobble cushions, will allow students to move while participating in learning activities. Movement is such an important aspect of the learning environment today. Many students concentrate better when movement is involved.
