Having these whiteboards will provide my students with infinite opportunities to practice their writing skills, both letters, and numerals. Although many of my kindergarten students are able to recognize their names, some letters of the alphabet, and numerals, the majority are unable to write their names or any numerals. The daily routine of writing their names and vocabulary words will reinforce and support their ability to recognize letters and sound out words. The whiteboards will also be used during math to write numerals, in addition to make/draw sets of a specific number of objects.
