This summer I completed a 200 hour social-emotional learning and yoga teacher certification program. My yoga certification is recognized by the international organization, Yoga Alliance. My goal is to include yoga in my theatre lessons and some after school practices as well. Studies show that yoga increases mindfulness, reduces stress, and increases physical well-being. Not only will yoga help my students in theatre, it will help them in other classes and in their personal life as well. Yoga has improved my life and I cannot wait to share this with my students.
