Consistency is best for young minds. After a few years of teaching at a school where I did not have my own classroom but taught by moving room to room on a cart and sharing supplies, I will finally have my own room. This stability will provide a welcoming atmosphere for students to feel comfortable and welcome. Building the classroom will grow young minds. Our classroom will primarily focus on math and science topics. Students welcomed will span grades 6-12. Tools I have added to the list will not only help students build basic, academic skills but also build their confidence in being successful individuals now and in the future. Lesson activities from TPT will help students, organize thoughts, strengthen skills, and have ready made digital resources at hand to be able to practice not just at school but at home if needed.
