Students will feel safer in an environment with books about their specific demographics, as well as LGBTQ students. Teenagers want to be seen. This will help increase learning! All of the art supplies help with interactive learning and projects, which we do a LOT of in my class. For Example, we will be creating posters, presentations, learning stations, and even make videos, podcasts, Socratic seminars, and more! High school students love to get their creative juices flowing just as much as younger students, and a lot of students learn better hands on!
