Books help students learn! Just like we need textbooks to learn about subjects such as reading, writing, and math. Students also need social and emotional books to help them learn about their feelings and what they are experiencing. Books help make social and emotional learning easier, fun, and relatable. Students are able to connect and identify with the characters in the stories to help them recognize their own emotions. When students are learning about social and emotional needs they have a better understanding of themselves and are able to develop empathy for others. Help my students learn about themselves and others through the use of social and emotional books.
