My goal with this project is to create a comfortable and safe classroom for my students. As a teacher with ADHD, I know how difficult it can be for our neurodivergent students especially to learn in an environment that is not accommodating nor accepting of their needs. I want every one of my students to be successful in their learning and allowed to be themselves and feel understood in this space. As a first-year teacher, there are so many projects that my students need to be funded, but this one for wobble cushions, chairs, and lap desks is very close to my heart.
