If my project is fully funded, students will have an opportunity to read material that is closely related to who they are and what they have gone through and how they can overcome it. As the saying goes, "If don't want them to know something, put it in a book". I want to give our students an opportunity to KNOW and GROW and not be excluded from the same knowledge and information as their counterparts. This project will allow students to foster not only their literature literacy but diversity and inclusion as well.

About my class
