I can monitor learning if I’m able to move throughout my class with a mobile device. I’m currently stuck in the front of the class if I need to monitor students with any online program they’re using which limits me to a screen. Having a more mobile device (Microsoft Surface Pro) will allow me to move and monitor at the same time servicing more students at once. We use reading programs which require live monitoring. With 21 active first graders who learn at different speeds, this can be challenging with a non mobile device.
