Please help me bring books into the classroom that represent students from all backgrounds. It’s important for students to see themselves in books. “When there are enough books available that can act as both mirrors and windows for ALL our children, then we can celebrate both our differences and similarities, because together they are what makes us all human.” Perspectives: Choosing and using books for the classroom. Also, students will have their own book bin to hold copies of their favorite books to read during daily five and reading time.
