These books will be used to introduce my students to core skills in reading, writing, and grammar. These picture books are high-quality and high-interest texts that can be used to teach a wide variety of skills to my students. One of our favorite parts of the day is our read-aloud time. There is nothing like gathering on the carpet and enjoying a story together. These texts will ensure that my students are hooked on the story and be ready to focus on skills such as inferencing, summarizing, sentence types, narrative writing, and so much more.
