Flexible seating is key to a classroom full of 10-year-old busy learners! My students are very fidgety and are constantly asking to use fidget tools to help their bodies stay focused on the math and science work. Students will all get a chance to sit in a flexible seat during their independent work and will be rewarded with flexible seating during whole group work. I had flexible seating in my high school classrooms, and it made my experience one hundred times better because I could wiggle! I have two bean bags and two foldable chairs, and my students are constantly fighting over them.
