Keva planks allow children the joy of creating using the blocks and LEGO bricks similarly allow children to build fearlessly. Both resources will enable my students to use the design process in engineering and use their imagination to create and build magnificent structures. Having these items will allow my students to improve their cognitive skills, enhance their problem solving skills and promote their overall decision making ability. The E in STEM stands for engineering and with this being a newly offered class in my school, our resources are very limited. Ultimately, the LEGO bricks and Keva Planks will encourage team building and cooperation to create an environment of support among peers.

About my class
