The art supplies on this list may seem basic at first glance, but I have seen firsthand what my students can create with materials such as these when they feel inspired and supported. My classroom is currently very limited on supplies, and so is my school budget. My goal is to be able to stock up my classroom with basic supplies that I can utilize to cater to lesson plans that allow my students to learn tools that they can keep carrying on with them wherever they go. I would like to do this without having to worry about having enough supplies for all of my K-6 classes. With the ongoing pandemic, having a good selection of supplies allows me to be able to rotate them as I sanitize after my classes, and also to be able to give some to my students to replenish their own supplies as they use them up, without their parents needing to worry about it themselves with their limited incomes. I want my kids to be able to walk into a colorful classroom and feel excited about what I am going to teach them next. It is very difficult to inspire creativity in a classroom that doesn't look like it can support what their imaginations come up with. Absolutely any help is immensely appreciated.
