Students will get the opportunity to learn a musical instrument that they haven't been able to play in class before. I think this will benefit all students and help them in their learning of reading music and playing together as a group. I also think this will benefit them if they decide to continue their musical abilities in middle school and beyond. We typically focus on the recorder but with the way things have been the past few years we haven't been doing that since it is an instrument students put their mouth on. With this project I can assign each student a ukelele and when classes switch i can easily sanitize them for the next group.

About my class
