This kidney-shaped table will make a difference in my students’ learning because it will help create a collaborative and engaging classroom environment. Kidney-shaped tables are ideal for small-group learning in early education because it is ideal for teachers to be able to easily support each student individually. The shape of this table allows me to do just this instead of having the standard, rectangular or circular tables that do not give the teacher an equal chance to support all students equally. This table also is ideal in the situation of social distancing, because dividers can be placed around the table, giving students the chance to still interact and see each other.
